As a practicing full-time professional luthier since 2007, I pride myself in being a full-fledged builder of fretted instruments. Although a majority of my work in the past had landed me in the routine set-up & maintenance realm, I’ve been fortunate enough to have been able to maintain a steady stream of custom builds as well as re-sale of used and previously played instruments. My grandfather was a wood-worker, and my father is an accomplished automotive mechanic. Myself? I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts. It took a few years of soul-searching, but it finally became clear that what I was meant to do was create functional works of art – guitars in particular. I strive for a consistent end-result: great playing instruments with loving homes regardless of their origins. Recently I found it to be the perfect time to bring the music business back to the roots of the local communities. Thus, the Guitar Rescue was born!
