Michael Angelo’s Winery

Beautiful venue for any occasion or to sit by a fire pit on the patio with a glass of wine. Driving up to Michael Angelo’s is like driving in Napa Valley…so similar. The main modern building is the cafe with comfortable tables and chairs, a shop with their homemade pastries and treats, and wines that they make from California grapes. There is a simple menu of delicious small bites. Outside, the patio is large with tables, chairs and fire pits. The area is very attractive. Foods here range from pastas, pizzas, salads and small bites. We attended a special event in a private room that had large windows on two walls with doors that opened onto another patio. In the room was a bar and fireplace. I’d say the room easily held 50 people seated at tables. The food consisted of a large charcuterie board with a glass of wine. After taking a tour of the grounds we returned for a meal and a flight of wines for a tasting. The service from everyone was good, and they were very friendly. The evening was very nice. If you like visiting local wineries, put this on your list.
