Justin grew up in a small neighborhood in Flanders, New Jersey. A true blooded 80’s kid. A time and place when you’d know where your friends were by whose house had the bikes laid out in front.
When Justin was 19, his family fell apart. He was forced into his own place while juggling college and a full time job. When the bills kept pilling up, Justin turned to a local pawn shop to sell his passed down and earned valuables. The owners Ron and Tommy saw the desperation and drive and offered him a chance to earn it back and learn the jewelry trade.
They taught him how to buy gold, silver, and diamonds. How to carve wax, set stones and create jewelry. He worked on repairs for customers and helped around the shop throughout college.
After 6 years at Cablevision corporate, Justin found himself on the search again, but this time with a new more mature mentality. He decided he was no longer going to work for anyone but himself and fell back into the trade. Working his way up from buying gold and silver and doing repairs for friends, he got his shot when asked to design an engagement ring. It was from that point on that he found himself consumed with the love of creating one off designs for people. It’s been over six years since his first custom piece and he continues to develop himself to work outside the box to bring to life his customer’s dream jewelry.
