I’m Phillip Rolfe, the bar director at Farmacia, an intimate 9 seat cocktail bar in Boston’s historic North Square.
I select only the finest base spirits and ingredients and manipulate them into flavorful and thought provoking cocktails.

We make every syrup, infusion and tincture we use.
We cold-press every juice.
We handcraft and garnish every cocktail and snack.

Who can’t relate to the idea of leaving one chapter behind, and moving on to the next?
For each quarterly chapter of Farmacia I draw inspiration from a particular locale, spirit or product. Utilizing both locally sourced and international ingredients and this inspiration, I create a cocktail menu from which we will make the selections for your personal cocktail progression.
Each chapter of Farmacia is as unique as the regions, liquors and cultures they embody.
Each visit includes an initial consultation regarding your preferences. Rest-assured, we can adjust or modify any cocktail to your personal preference or create something unique based on your inclinations.
