While Yuengling has expanded over the last few years, it originated in Pennsylvania and you can visit the oldest brewery in the U.S.A.! Get a tour of their facilities in Pottsville, a little less than 2 hours from Center City. Visitors can take a free tour of the brewery and can sample some of the beers at the end of the tour.

Since it’s a little bit of a drive, it’s a great destination for an overnight stay if you have willing babysitters. Yuengling even has a list of places to stay!

Completely closed shoes are REQUIRED to go on tour. We recommend wearing sneakers but we do have sneakers available for purchase at a nominal fee
