Crew Fitness is a business that uses a novel concept of a workout centered around the Concept 2 indoor rower. Each class begins with a brief rowing tutorial they ironically call the sink row. (Well, when they say it, they mean “Sync” row, short for synchronized. But, I like puns, so I spell it that way in my head when they say it. I mean, it’s a rower and they want us to sink?) The synchronization is desired because ultimately, your rowing, which is generally done in the water with other rowers in the same boat, so everyone would be stroking at the same speed.

You’ll hear the mantra “Legs, core, arms” used to explain the proper form of how to row.

Crew Fitness is a program YOU can do. Our classes are low-impact, so they’re good for your joints. You’ll go at your own pace with an instructor encouraging you to set and reach goals that are right FOR YOU!

Our Crew finds joy in fitness and community. We work out because it makes our lives better. We work out to relieve stress, burn fat, tone muscle and transform our bodies.

We row for health: for strength and endurance.
We ride for happiness: for more energy and less stress.

Crew classes are 45-minute sessions of fitness and fun featuring awesome music and motivating instructors. Our Crew combines intervals on the bike and rower with body-sculpting movements off of the machines. The music is motivating. The atmosphere is electric. The instructors are inspiring.
