We offer antique and vintage local architectural elements, like doors, windows, and mantles from the 19th and early 20th centuries. We also offer antique and secondary market fine furnishings, lighting, antique iron, and cast stone decor & terra cotta building parts for the garden. We also order fine fabrics at 35% over wholesale and have bolt goods priced well under wholesale.
History
Established in 1996.
Like businesses have been in this location for over 30 years. The first owner was more architectural salvage oriented, bringing things in from around the country. The second owner came from a gift store background, and was devoted to the history of Charleston. We tend towards architectural elements and the decorative arts, sometimes ‘upscaling’ product for other uses, using local craftsmen to create unique one-of-a-kind items in furniture and lighting.
Do you buy used redwood furniture?
No, I’m sorry, we do not. You may be able to consign it at one of the local consignment stores; however, I don’t know of anyone to recommend who buys it outright…. If it’s midcentury modern in design, you may try Warehouse 61 in West Ashley, but I don’t know his parameters about how he buys product…. Thanks for your inquiry!
