Autumn Lake Winery

With vineyards established in 2012 and the small winery that followed, Autumn Lake Winery was born with the singular ambition of creating wines of superior quality from our own cultivated grapes. Grown above the lakes, all of our vines enjoy a view of the water, which offers cold weather moderation and warm weather breezes – perfect for slow and steady ripening. Part nature, part science, and part passion, good wine starts in the vineyard.

History

Established in 2012.

Our first vines were planted in 2012, beginning with a handful of varietals – Chardonnay, Riesling, and Chambourcin, to name a few. It would be a couple years until our first harvest; we spent that time carefully tending to the vineyard and preparing plans for the winery. Each year, we’ve added to our vineyard, with now 17 different grape varietals. Autumn Lake is listed in the GSWGA Passport, offering tastings and bottle sales beside our production area. Our permanent building is underway, overlooking the lakes and vineyard, with a more comfortable tasting area and formal facilities for our guests.
